BBC Studios adds new formats to its catalogue ahead of MIPCOM:

  • In dating show 'The Big Date', 100 singles face a dilemma: whether to follow their hearts or AI, which has found their "perfect match".
  • 'The Yacht' is a reality social experiment set against a backdrop of luxury, where guests compete to win, but, unknown to them, their every interaction and decision comes with consequences.
  • In dating experiment 'Silent Attraction', singles mingle and couple up, but are initially unable to talk to each other, unaware of their opposing values.
  • 'Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro' features up-and-coming dancers who compete for a spot as a pro dancer on the next season of DWTS.

Nippon TV adds three formats: 'Ultra Mission', dropping world-class specialists into everyday life and absurd, real-world tests; reality dating show 'Love on the Menu', where single professional chefs search for love through food; and celebrity comedy show 'Never Look Back' with one simple rule: whatever chaos unfolds behind you, do not turn around.

TV Asahi introduces new psychological competition 'Trade Room'. Two celebrity teams compete from the Black Room and White Room but must be strategic, as they may end up switching rooms and competing against former teammates.

Strategic reality format 'The Detective Club' from Banijay Entertainment announces its first international adaptation in Germany for Sat.1 and Joyn. The suspense-filled show features celebrities investigating the disappearance of the host's beloved dog.

Be-Entertainment takes global distribution rights to the celebrity guessing game format 'Make Up Your Mind', which is a hit on Dutch RTL 4. Celebrities transform into drag queens, and two competing panels must identify them. The company also seals the deal for 'The Political Assembly' in Finland. The format challenges politicians to convene in a reality setting.

New dating format 'Maison Tabou', launching soon on German RTL+ and RTLzwei, will be distributed by Fremantle. Singletons share sensual and physical experiences with like-minded people at a unique "desire" hotel run by a mysterious mistress.

Also premiering soon: the first U.S. all-civilian version of 'The Traitors' (The Traitors: New Blood) on NBC, 'The 1% Club' India, and new reality competition 'Wonka's The Golden Ticket' on Netflix.
